I am a big fan of watching the governmental news programs, I watch CNN MSNBC and FOX. A critic that I really liked on CNN was Howard Kurtz, known for calling out many officials when they are wrong, I really enjoy reading his theories about Obama and many other topics. I am sad to say that he was recently fired from his job for accusing Jason Collins (first active pro athlete to announce he is gay) of not being truthful when it came to having a finacee. Kurtz was wrong about what he said and gave invalid information calling out this athlete. Even after his wrong doings, and me defending equal rights, I still really enjoyed his philosophies on the Daily Beast on CNN.

My favorite movie critic is Anthony Oliver Scott. He is a writer for the New York times, he is an amazing writer seeing as his parents were both professors. Keeping the Scott brood's educated leanings alive and well, Mr. New York Times Movie Reviewer (working alongside Manohla Dargis) represents a younger breed of critical prestige, he's only 46-years-old. I love to hear from people that I can relate to because I do not think people above the age of 55 really understand this new wave of media and technology in movies.

I am an avid twitter user, and I find this site to be extremely useful when trying to find out about all types of media. Chris Cantalini is my favorite music critic that I follow on twitter, he is young, down to earth, and seems to make sense out of good or bad music, and explains the flaws or advantages of each song very in depth. He also talks about and makes his followers aware of certain music festivals going on around te nation, and critiques them based on previous performances and if they will be comparable to other concerts the bands have performed in. I really enjoy reading his blogs that he uploads to twitter, and I would recommend them to anyone who enjoys alternative music.
